Various destinations around Australia in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory and Tasmania. Also some overseas locations including Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore.
Why is this experience on the Challenge List?
I LOVE taking photos, mostly scenic shots (or when my siblings do something funny) the reason for having this experience is for taking these spontaneous amazing photos so that I have a collection of my best photos collated together.
Description:
Every time I am out I usually end up taking a photo but the issue also with taking so many photos is we dont always have time to reflect on what moments are the best. I take photos to remember the moment so it is forever immortalised and for my siblings one of their favourite things to do is look over photos of themselves when they are little. They are so adorable and it always brings a smile to our faces and even looking at landmarks and scenic shots from holidays they love to look back at where they have been.
I have been on quite a few adventures so far and I try to find a way that will help me to remember the moment, sometimes there are a lot of opportunites but other times they may only be a single unique moment. That saying comes to mind “A picture is worth a 1000 words” – Fred R. Barnard and I have to say it couldn’t be more true. As when I look at these images there are so many connections that they bring up.
Most of these photos have been taken whilst I have been on holidays but some have been taken of my local area. These are some of my absolute favourtie pictures that I have taken since April 2017. Sorry… I seriously couldn’t help myself I tried to limit it down to 20 BUT I just couldn’t I already narrowed it down from 73 and then every time I would get rid of a few I would find a few more, whoops! I just think they are all so spectacular.

I’ve got a few more…
I just had to show you these ones, I absolutely adore these photos of these animals. The expression that they are showing in each of these photos its almost like you can read their thoughts, such as the joy on the elephants faces, the monkeys that are looking very inquisitive, the pandas I just love their expressions (theres one in particular where the Panda had just finished all its food and it just looks so miserable) and the proud kingfisher wanting to show off its colours.

Would I do it again?
DEFINITELY!! Taking photos is a passion of mine I like to capture moments in time and share the joy that brings with them. I will continue to keep photographing these special moments.
I would like to learn more about photography and upgrade my camera but working with what I have at the moment my equipment.
I would recommend anyone to do this as its really easy to do, any camera device can be used, just try not to use any filters the only thing that I use to edit my photos is the brightness (which does make a difference especially with scenic shots). Capture an amazing spontaneous photo because you never know how the photo will turn out, it may even surprise you.
Highlight:
When I’m looking at something with my own eyes and then take the photo on my device I never know if sometimes it’ll be a good photo or not but when its a great photo sometimes it even surprises myself!!
When I showed my family the photos of the animals they said that they could pictures for a calender because of the detail and the expression shown on each of the animals is incredible!
Putting all of these together and just getting to show people my favourite photos and seeing how much they love them.
Cost:
It’s free!! Unless you want top end gear but to be honest majority of these photos were taken on my phone and only a few were on my camera.
Further information:
Take a photo of anything! Literally anything, get down on the level of the object, look up at it, change the brightness, change your angle or just do anything you want to because by changing your perspective you may just capture your next favourite picture.
